Whirlwind of emotions

It’s definitely been a whirlwind the last 2 days.

An update to those that do not follow me on twitter – I was selected to be one of the next Mamavation Moms.  This is a HUGE honor and if you want to know more about it, I STRONGLY encourage you to look into this amazing, life-changing group

With the honor comes responsibility so I will try NOT to ignore you over the next seven weeks but please understand that I will be posting on the mamavation website twice a week  (and my first post is up 🙂 ) and I will be posting my nutrition/ exercise DAILY so feel free to check that out too!

I’ll be here and there just trying to keep my head above water 🙂

Mamavation Monday – Oct 18th 2010

There has been some confusion on twitter about what weight/ measurements to post for today’s entry… So, I’m posting everything.

Exercise schedule from last week:

  • Monday – 1.61 mile walk – 24 minutes
    + 150 Jumping Jacks
  • Tuesday – Walked from school to my car 36 min
    + 150 Jumping Jacks
  • Wednesday – 150 Jumping Jacks
  • Thursday – Mamaguns circuit training
    + 150 Jumping Jacks
  • Friday – 2.04 mile walk – 34 minutes + 150 Jumping Jacks
  • Saturday – 45 min EAS Active workout + 30 min Wii fit Just dance + 150 Jumping jacks
  • Sunday – 2.04 mile walk – 34 minutes + 150 Jumping Jacks

Challenge updates:

Mamaguns –
with everything else going on this week I only got in 1 day of mamaguns 😦 next week will re-commit to this. It was Thursday by the time I realized I hadn’t been doing it… shame on me!!!

Movement Challenge –
Lots of movement this week – especially Saturday! Total for the week was 203 Minutes! (Not counting the walks I took on breaks at work )

Commit2fit Continued walking/jogging as I continue to train for my 5K. Reached some of my fastest times for a mile so far…

  • GOOD LUCK to all the Mamavation Mom Applicants! I can’t wait to see how things end up tonight at the Twitter party!!! BUT everyone is a winner – you’ve committed to a healthy life and that is REALLY the most important thing!

  • Congrats to for the post of the week!  Marie I loved seeing the family enjoying activity (and getting their exercise in )
  • Congrats to Scarlett for being commenter of the week! – Love knowing you’ll leave a gem for me

Goals for the week:

  • Continue making conscious decisions that push me closer to a healthy lifestyle
  • Monitor calories to ensure I’m fueling my body correctly
  • Continue with Water and Fiber because it makes a difference!
  • Continue on with the 150 Jumping Jacks daily & whatever else Leah and my Sistas throw our way for Mamavation Mom/ MILI
